Financial Reports Update
Our 'Financial Reports' page has been updated for ease of use. Now only the current your is displayed on the 'Financial Reports' page, with a link to our previous years financial reports as an archived page. Hope this makes finding the information you are looking for easier. We will also be updating our 'Monthly Minutes' page to the same format shortly.

HOA Monthly Meeting
Our monthly meeting will be on Sunday February 4th but the time has changed. Meetings are now starting at 6 pm, not 7pm, and will run until 7:30 pm (depending on how much business we have to discuss). Please come and give your input and ideas.

Pets
A friendly reminder to please keep all pets on leashes or in a properly fenced yard. Also with the freezing temperatures please make sure if your pets are outdoor pets that they have warm shelter and non-frozen food and water.

Clarification of Recent Letter
The recent letter that was sent out the end of October, that everyone should have received, seems to have caused a lot of confusion.
For clarification it is not a Foreclosure notice. It was to inform everyone about the "Homestead Act" and that the exemption under that act does not apply,
as well as updated bylaws, and a request for renter information to make sure we have the most recent information on who is renting here in Rhody.
It was tri-folded incorrectly and we apologize for any confusion this may have caused. If you are up to date on all of your dues you will have only
received the letter. If you owe money for dues or other assessments you will have received invoices for what is owed, giving those that have not paid yet
a chance to bring their accounts current. At this time we are not foreclosing on any properties but if accounts are not brought current by paying what is
owed, foreclosure or wage garnishment may be used as a method of collection.

HOA Annual Meeting
Our Annual Meeting was a today and it went well. The votes were tallied and we would like to introduce the 2017-2018 Board of Trustees:
Richard Clark, Lynn Cunningham, Albert Johnson, Maude Kelleher, Amanda Lawson, Carrie Myers, Darrell Pritchard, and Rex Pulfrey
Lynn Cunningham is new to the board, Amanda Lawson is starting a full term, Rex Pulfrey is returning for another term.
Both Bylaw amendments passed and we will be updating the records accordingly very soon.

HOA Annual Meeting
Time for the yearly Rhododendron Park HOA Annual Meeting. Its this Saturday September 23rd at 1pm at the Prairie Ridge Community Hall. Its located at: 14205 215th Ave E, Bonney Lake, WA 98391. All members, renters & owners are encouraged to come. Hope to see you there.

Animals in Rhododendron Park
Several members have asked about what animals they can and cannot have in Rhody. Short answer - a few chickens (no Roosters), dogs, or cats; Two small (pygmy, dwarf or miniture) goats or horses. For more information check Pierce County Code Section 18A.37.060 for "Urban Area - Lots less than one-half acre"

Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of the Membership is coming up on Saturday September 23rd at 1pm at the Prairie Ridge Community Hall. All resumes for board member positions should be returned by August 15th.

New monthly meeting dates
The monthly meetings of the HOA Board of Trustees has been moved to the First Sunday of every month. This change has been made with the hopes that more members will be able to attend the monthly meetings.
The meeting for September will be held on Aug. 27 due to Labor day holiday.

4th of July
The 4th of July is coming up quick and fireworks are already available and being lit off. Please be courteous or your neighbors when using fireworks and as a suggestion to all: Water down lawns and homes in the evening to help reduce fire hazards. Be safe and have fun.
